Eilis Kavanagh is a landscape artist based in Hawkfield, close to Newbridge in Co. Kildare.  Her work is inspired not only by the beauty of the local countryside and bog land but also by her many visits to the West of Ireland & Camino Trips. Her collection of work is a personal response to the scenes she encounters in everyday life which she captures in her work Eilis is motivated by the need to paint for her own and others pleasure and she hopes that her paintings will speak to those who view them.

Eilis is actively involved in the Art Scene in Kildare, She is the founder , curator and facilitator for the successful PopUpArt Newbridge Art Collective which continues to facilitate a collective of Kildare connected Artists the opportunty to showcase their work to wider audiences than previously available to them., with a mimimum of three exhibitions annually.
